Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening or butter
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes about 12 biscuits.
