Blueberry Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. milk
1 c. blueberries
Preparation

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Blend 3 tablespoons of butter and stir in sugar.
In measuring cup, lightly beat 1 egg with fork and add enough milk to measure 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons and beat this mixture into the flour mixture.
Stir in blueberries and transfer the batter to a buttered 8-inch square baking pan.
Spread the batter evenly.
