Spinach And Orange Salad("Delicious") - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 to 10 oz. fresh spinach
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. slivered almonds
2 large oranges, peeled and cut up
1/2 c. celery, sliced
4 green onions, sliced
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. vegetable oil
dash of Tabasco sauce
dash of pepper
Preparation

Wash, trim and dry spinach. Refrigerate.
Heat 1/2 cup sugar in small skillet over medium heat until sugar melts.
Add almonds and heat, stirring constantly, until almonds become caramelized. Cool on foil or waxed paper. Chop into bite size pieces. Tear spinach into bite size pieces. Toss with almonds, oranges, celery and onions. Combine salt, 2 tablespoons sugar, vinegar, oil, Tabasco sauce and pepper.
To serve, pour over salad and toss.
