Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    4 Tbsp. sorghum
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Roll in balls one-half the size of walnuts.
    Roll in sugar and place on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
    Bake 15 to 18 minutes at 375\u00b0.
