Taco Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 taco seasoning (1 envelope)
1 lb. hamburger or ground chuck
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans with liquid
1 head lettuce, shredded
2 onions, chopped or 1 bunch green onions
3 tomatoes, diced
12 oz. American or Cheddar cheese, grated
1 (12 oz.) bag nacho Doritos, crushed
1 Italian dressing (8 oz.)
Preparation

Brown hamburger and drain well.
Add can of kidney beans with liquid and simmer 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally.
Cool completely.
Just before serving, combine meat and bean mixture, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cheese and Doritos.
Add dressing and mix well.
The last addition is sprinkling of taco powder seasoning and tossing gives it that peppy zest!
Good for showers and parties.
