Pepper-Onion Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. finely chopped onion
    2 c. finely chopped sweet green pepper
    2 c. finely chopped sweet red pepper
    3 c. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Drain pepper and onions.
    Combine all ingredients and bring slowly to a boil.
    Cook until slightly thickened, about 25 minutes.
    Pour into clean, hot, sterilized jars.
    Fill jars to 1/2 inch of top.
    Seal.
    Process 10 minutes at simmering temperature, about 180 degrees.
