Pecan Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. pecans, chopped
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together in a mixing bowl and stir in the pecans.
    Beat eggs vigorously in a separate bowl until very thick; add the milk and stir into the flour-nut mixture.
    Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Turn out of the pan onto a cake rack and cool.
    Keeps well wrapped in foil.
