Potato Patch Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 egg
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. celery salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
    4 c. potato slices
    10 oz. pkg. frozen peas and carrots, thawed
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, onion, egg, 1/4 cup milk, bread crumbs and seasonings.
    Shape into 18 meatballs and brown in cooking oil. Make a white sauce with butter, flour, milk, salt and pepper. Add cheese.
    Stir until melted.
    Combine potatoes, peas and carrots.
    Place in roaster.
    Arrange meatballs around edge of dish.
    Cover with sauce.
    Cover dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer.
