Miss Pearl'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter, softened
    2 tsp. lemon extract
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. flour, sifted
    6 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    several drops yellow food coloring
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. each: baking ???
    salt
Preparation
    Cream first 3 ingredients in large bowl.
    Sift ingredients together.
    Add a small amount to creamed mixture.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well.
    Add remaining flour alternately with milk. Pour into greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
