Chicken Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cut-up chicken, skin removed
1/4 tsp. cayenne
2 medium onions
4 garlic cloves
6 Tbsp. whole wheat flour
2 bay leaves
1/8 tsp. turmeric
1/4 c. white wine
1 1/2 tsp. Tabasco
1 Tbsp. parsley
1/4 c. apple juice
Preparation
-
Brown chicken in Teflon frypan.
Add vegetables and saute until tender.
Remove chicken from pan and sprinkle whole wheat flour over vegetables until browned and very fragrant.
Add apple juice and the rest of the ingredients.
Simmer until tender.
I add 3/4 of a cup of brown rice-----Delish!
