Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 can condensed milk
    1 c. white Karo
    2 sticks margarine
    2 tsp. vanilla
    nuts, if desired
Preparation
    Cook (except vanilla) until 243\u00b0.
    Add vanilla and nuts, if desired.
    Pour into well-greased glass (if possible) dish to cool. Cut in pieces and wrap individually.
