Kentucky-Fried Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 ears fresh corn, cut off cob
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. bacon grease
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except bacon grease; stir to blend. Melt grease in a large frying pan.
    Add corn mixture and simmer on low heat for about 40 minutes.
