Buttered Browned Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large baking potatoes
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel baking potatoes.
    Cut each to 6 slices.
    Dry.
    Coat in 1/4 cup melted butter in a 2-quart baking dish.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Bake, covered, in a single layer, for 20 minutes. Uncover, baste with other 1/4 cup of butter and bake 30 minutes. Serves 6.
