English Toffee Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 (1 1/8 oz.) English toffee bars or 2 Heath bars, crushed
    4 c. fresh strawberries, halved
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
    Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; add candy.
    Stir well. Cool; mixture thickens as it cools.
