Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. loaf homestyle bread
6 c. milk
5 to 6 eggs
1/4 c. sugar (about)
vanilla and nutmeg to taste
seedless raisins
Preparation

Break bread into small pieces in 2 (9 x 12-inch) glass cake pans.
Beat 3 cups of milk together with 2 to 3 eggs.
Add sugar, raisins and seasoning and pour 1/2 over each pan.
Put raisins and nutmeg on top.
Beat rest of eggs and milk and pour over mixture. Allow to stand about 10 minutes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
Turn oven down to 300\u00b0 and bake about 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
Makes 24 servings.
