Sweet Milk Hot Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    2 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Beat eggs in mixing bowl.
    Add milk and shortening; mix good. Measure and combine dry ingredients.
    Stir into egg mixture.
    Drop batter by spoonful onto dry, hot griddle or heavy skillet.
    As soon as hot cakes are brown on underside, turn over.
    When puffed, fill with butter or margarine while hot.
    Add syrup or honey on top.
