Crispy Chocolate Peanut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. corn flakes
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Butter an 8-inch square baking pan.
    Mix corn syrup, brown sugar and salt in saucepan and boil.
    Remove from heat; add peanut butter, stirring until smooth.
    Cool for 5 minutes.
    Stir in vanilla and cereals.
    Before firm, add chocolate chips.
    Stir until blended.
    Press into buttered pan and chill.
    Cut and serve.
