Shaggy Date Nut Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 stick oleo
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix oleo, dates, sugar and egg together and cook over low heat, stirring constantly for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and then add vanilla, Rice Krispies and pecans.
Let cool.
Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
