5 "P" Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 small can English peas, drained
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 small jar chopped pimento
    3 Tbsp. salad pickles
    1/2 c. pecans
    liquid from peas and pineapple to measure 1 c. (add water if necessary)
Preparation
    Dissolve jello; add liquid and remaining ingredients. Allow to gel in an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 pan. Cut into squares to serve; place on a lettuce leaf. A dollop of mayonnaise is optional.
