Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef, cut into bite-size pieces
    1/2 c. Burgundy wine
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can undiluted consomme
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
    1/4 c. sifted flour
    noodles or rice
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except noodles or rice.
    Place in casserole dish.
    Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 about 3 hours, or until beef is tender.
    Serve on the noodles or rice.
