Raspberry Juice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. raspberries
    sugar
    juice and water
Preparation
    Wash, clean and crush raspberries.
    Place in Earthenware bowl or crock and let ferment 5 days.
    Drain through a cheesecloth. Measure the liquid and take double that amount of sugar.
    Cook sugar with a little water to make syrupy.
    Add juice to sugar; cook 15 minutes.
    While the juice is cooking, continue to clear the top of the juice with a spoon.
    While still warm, pour into bottles and cap securely.
    Good over ice cream and as a refreshing healthy beverage.
    Can use with soda water.
