Chipped Beef With Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2.25 oz.) jar dried beef, cut into small pieces
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. plain flour, mixed with 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Melt butter. Add milk, salt, pepper and beef. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Add flour/water mixture and continue to stir until thickened. Serve over toast.
