Katherine Hepburn'S Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 oz. (2 sq.) unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. unsalted butter (1 stick)
1 c. sugar
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0.
Butter and flour an 8-inch square baking pan.
Melt the chocolate with the butter in saucepan over low heat.
Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar.
Stir in the eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth.
Add the flour, salt and nuts and stir until smooth.
Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of the brownies comes out clean, 40 minutes.
Makes 16 brownies.
