24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce, broken into pieces
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced bell pepper
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    1 c. mayonnaise
    sugar to taste
    6 oz. grated cheese
    8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Preparation
    Cook and drain peas.
    Cool.
    Layer lettuce, onion, celery, peppers and peas.
    Spread mayonnaise over peas.
    Then add cheese and bacon.
    Chill one day or overnight.
    Serve.
