Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 small cucumbers
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    5 green onions, chopped fine
    1 head Boston lettuce
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Peel and slice or dice cucumbers.
    Put in bowl with 2 teaspoons salt.
    Mix and let stand at room temperature at least 1 hour.
    Drain and pat dry.
    Meanwhile, mix green onions, salt and pepper with cream.
    When ready to serve, shred lettuce.
    Add cucumbers and cream mixture.
    Mix well.
    This salad requires a good amount of pepper.
    Serves 6.
