Barbecued Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground sirloin
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    2 Tbsp. ketchup
    1 large bottle barbecue sauce
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix ingredients.
    Shape into meatballs.
    Arrange meatballs in a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until brown.
    Using a slatted spoon, transfer meatballs to a Dutch oven or large pan.
    Pour barbecue sauce over meatballs and cook slowly for 3 to 4 hours.
    Cocktail franks can be added at anytime if you wish.
    (Also can be cooked in a crock-pot.
    The secret is to make sure they are cooked thoroughly and slowly, so the sauce blends.)
