Pineapple Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 (20 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
    4 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
Preparation
    Cook pineapple with tapioca for 10 minutes.
    Stir; let cool. Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, milk and vanilla.
    Sift flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
    Add to mixture; work until like pie dough.
    Roll half of dough mixture into 9 x 13-inch cookie sheet.
    Layer with pineapple; roll rest of dough on waxed paper. place dough on top of pineapple.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
