Mom'S Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. pepperoni
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 c. water
    1/2 lb. cooked lasagna noodles
    1 lb. Ricotta cheese
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
    1/4 lb. Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    Brown meat.
    Add onion and garlic.
    Cook until golden.
    Add remaining ingredients, except noodles and cheese.
    Simmer sauce for 2 hours or use any prepared spaghetti sauce and save 2 hours.
