Wild Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. wild rice
1/3 c. margarine
1/2 c. slivered almonds (optional)
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, chopped or 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar mushrooms
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cooking wine
3 c. chicken broth
Preparation
-
Boil water and pour over wild rice.
Let stand for 1/2 hour. Repeat this 2 or 3 times; let cool.
