Puerto Rican Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs, lightly beaten
2 (12 oz. each) cans evaporated milk
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. water
Preparation

To Caramelize:
In a small saucepan, over low heat, boil granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon water, stirring constantly, until the sugar melts and turns into a rich golden brown (approximately 15 minutes).
Pour caramel into an 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch mold or glass dish.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
