Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. vegetables or all one kind
    1 can tomato soup
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. mustard
    3 small onions, sliced thin
    1 green pepper, sliced thin
    dash of salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix all except vegetables together.
    Cook vegetables until tender.
    Pour mix over vegetables.
    Let stand for 24 hours before eating.
    Serve cold.
