Fettuccine Verde - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. fresh fettuccine or 8 oz. dried fettuccine or medium wide noodles
    boiling salted water
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. sliced green onions (including tops)
    2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
    1/2 pt. whipping cream (1 c.)
    about 1 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper
    1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Following package directions, cook fresh or dried noodles in a large kettle of boiling salted water until al dente, then drain.
