Chocolate Town House Special Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. boiling water

Preparation

Mix sugar and shortening until creamy.
Add eggs; beat.
Add rest of ingredients, except cocoa and water.
Pour boiling water over cocoa and mix.
Add this to mixture, beating until well blended.
Pour into cake pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
