Papa Jacobs' Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (14 oz.) bottles catsup
    1 (12 oz.) can chili sauce
    1/3 c. prepared mustard
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. coarse ground pepper
    1 1/2 c. wine vinegar
    1 c. fresh lemon juice
    1/2 c. bottled thick steak sauce
    dash of Tabasco or to taste
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 (12 oz.) can beer
    1/4 tsp. minced or crushed garlic (if desired)
    2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except garlic.
    Keep in refrigerator until ready to use (or freeze).
    Makes 6 pints.
