Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
5 eggs
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening; add sugar and eggs, one at a time.
Beat after each addition.
Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Add vanilla before last flour. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan, 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Does not need icing, but can ice.
