Maple Sweetened Wheat Bran-Fig Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. wheat bran
    1 1/4 c. wheat flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. grated orange peel
    3/4 c. diced moist dried figs
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1/4 c. regular oil
    1 egg
    1/2 c. plain nonfat yogurt
Preparation
    Mix and bake 16 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Test with toothpick.
