Spicy Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. rolled oats
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Pour boiling water over oats; set aside.
Mix butter and sugar until creamy.
Add vanilla
and eggs.
Mix well; add dry ingredients and pour in pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
