Mock Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    20 Ritz crackers, crushed
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff with sugar and baking powder. Add crackers and fold in gently.
    Add nuts.
    Pour into buttered 9-inch pie plate.
    Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serve cold with ice cream or whipped topping.
