Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small can coconut (Angel Flake)
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Sprinkle coconut in pie shell. Melt butter; add sugar. Beat eggs with sugar. Add vanilla. Pour over coconut.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 10 minutes; turn oven down to 275\u00b0. Bake 1 1/2 hours until top is golden brown.
    Let cool.
