Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. butter, melted
    2 1/4 c. light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sift together the dry ingredients.
    In a bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time. beaten well after each.
    Add the dry ingredients, nuts and chips.
    Mix well and put in pan.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean from center. (Makes 32 squares.)
