Cherry Swirl Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine or butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
4 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, vanilla and almond extract.
Add eggs, 1 at a time; mix well.
Stir in flour sifted with baking powder.
Spread 3/4 batter on greased cookie sheet.
Spread with pie filling.
Drop rest of the batter by teaspoonful over cherry pie filling.
Dribble frosting while warm.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
