Flaky Pastry For Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. vegetable shortening
    1/4 c. ice water
Preparation
    Mix flour and salt; cut in shortening with a pastry cutter. Stir in water, one teaspoon at a time, briskly with a fork, until it holds together.
    On a lightly floured board, roll out.
