German Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut (undrained)
    1/2 c. Uncle Ben's converted rice (dry)
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. ground beef (uncooked)
    1 1/2 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Melt margarine in skillet.
    Spread sauerkraut evenly in skillet.
    Cover with onion.
    Top with the meat (crumbled).
    Salt and pepper.
    Pour in the tomato juice.
    Cover; cook on low heat until the rice is tender.
    If the mixture is too dry, you may add more tomato juice.
    Serves about 6 people.
