Corn And Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. oil
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 can Shoepeg corn
    1 can LeSueur peas
    1 small jar pimento
    1 c. bell pepper
    1 c. celery
    1 c. onion
Preparation
    Heat first 5 ingredients.
    Set aside to cool.
    Drain corn and peas.
    Chop pimento, bell pepper, celery and onion.
    Pour cooled syrup over vegetables, stir and refrigerate.
