Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 4 lb.) chicken
    2 green peppers
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. cooked celery
    1 small can mushrooms
    1/2 c. sherry or wine
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1/4 c. oil
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley and basil
    1 garlic clove, minced
Preparation
    Clean and cut chicken in small pieces.
    Brown in hot oil.
    Add vegetables and brown lightly.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer until done.
    Serves 4.
