Royal Fresh Fruit Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cut-up fresh fruit
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sifted self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/3 c. soft shortening or cooking oil
    3 Tbsp. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place fruit in square pan, 9 x 9 x 1 3/4-inch or round layer pan, 9 x 1 1/2-inch.
    Sprinkle with mixture of 2/3 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and cinnamon.
    Dot with butter.
    Sift 1 cup flour and 2 tablespoons sugar into bowl; add shortening, milk and egg.
    Stir with fork until thoroughly blended.
