Brazil Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Brazil nuts
    1 lb. dates, pitted
    8 oz. jar maraschino cherries
    3/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Drain cherries.
    Place in a large bowl.
    Add dates and nuts. Sift dry ingredients.
    Sprinkle over fruit.
    Beat eggs until foamy.
    Pour over fruit and nut mixture.
    Add vanilla; mix. Grease loaf pan.
    Line with wax paper.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done when tested.
