Beef With Tomatoes And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. top sirloin, sliced 1/4-inch strips
    1/2 lb. pork, sliced 1/4-inch strips
    5 Tbsp. soy sauce and 2 Tbsp. oil
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger
    3 cloves garlic
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. peanut oil
    2 medium onions, cut 1/2 moons
    2 stalks celery, sliced diagonally
    3 green peppers, sliced
    1 c. mushrooms
    3 large tomatoes, cut in 1/8's
    3 green onions, chopped
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients with meat.
    Marinate for 15 minutes.
    Drain; reserve marinade.
    Heat wok; add peanut oil. Sear meat quickly over high heat.
    Remove meat.
    Add oil if needed to stir-fry next 4 ingredients.
    Cook until tender-crisp.
    Add meat and marinate tomatoes and green onions.
    Stir until heated through and slightly thickened.
    Serve over rice.
