Ingredients

2 medium onions, sliced
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed beef broth
2 c. hot water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
thin slices of French bread, toasted
grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Place onion and margarine in 2-quart casserole.
Cover tightly and microwave on High (100%) 2 minutes; stir.
Cover and microwave until tender, 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in broth, water and sauce. Cover tightly and microwave on High to boiling point, 8 to 10 minutes.
Divide 1/2 of soup among 4 bowls; add toast.
Pour remaining hot soup over toast; sprinkle with cheese.
