Meat Loaf Wellington - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. undiluted evaporated milk
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1/2 c. fine cracker crumbs
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. grated carrot
1 egg
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. minced mushrooms
1/4 c. snipped parsley
2 c. biscuit mix
3 Tbsp. shortening (Crisco)
1/3 c. evaporated milk
3 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Combine milk, ground chuck, crumbs, onion, carrot, egg, mustard, salt and pepper.
Mix lightly, but thoroughly.
Shape into a 9-inch log on waxed paper.
Set aside.
